Agawam Qualifier 2009 Results

Hello All,

On Saturday December 12th our 6 teams competed at Agawam Junior High School for a spot in this Saturdays State Finals.  All teams members did a great job in there Research Presentation, Technical Presentation, and Match Rounds. You should know that after the presentations were over we were approached by many Judges with great things to say about our team.

We had hoped that all 6 teams would win a spot to attend the finals but out of 9 spots only one team got a golden ticket.  Team 1130: “Self-Destructing Robots” will be representing Shrewsbury Robotics at this years State Finals @ WPI.  We will continue to met with Team 1130 on Monday and Wednesday of the coming week.

For everyone else last Saturday was the last official event of the season.  It has been a great many weeks and I have meet a lot of great students. I hope to see you all next year, or over the summer in our Summer Robotics classes.  I am very proud of what our students have done and I hope you are too.

We encourage all team members to come Saturday and cheer on Team 1130 in the State Finals.

As the season for many is coming to an end we are looking for feedback of things we can add, remove, or change to make next years experience better.
